About Wood Provenance

Connect the lot to its records. Find the gaps before the material changes hands. This publication is operated by Ipe Woods USA, which can also help fulfill material requests.

Wood Provenance focuses on the link between a physical wood lot and its supporting records. Ipe Woods USA operates this record-review resource. It helps organize evidence and open questions; it does not issue certification or legal conclusions about origin.

Timber samples beside a blank lot tag and document sheets — A physical material and its document record need an explicit relationship.
